1 Corinthians 4 & 5

It is a scary thing to be a teacher of the Word. God knows every word that is said and every motive that the heart contains. He will ultimately judge the fruit of each ministry and the motivation of each minister. Because of that, we should be very careful about judging or criticizing someone else's work. It's not our job. Of course, we should listen to teachers and compare what they say with the message of the Bible, but we should think twice before we arrogantly or quickly speak against another believer.

But that doesn't mean that we do not have a responsibility to discipline obviously wrong behavior when it is found in the life of a leader. Anyone is welcome to attend and belong, but there is a standard for those who would be in a position of leadership. To allow public wrongdoing by leaders is to undermine the very foundations of the Christian life. Grace is a wonderful thing, but to presume on grace causes confusion and very possibly can cause a believer to stumble in their walk with Christ.

  1. These 2 chapters are difficult to me. anybody else?
i understand we are to be in control of ourselves in Church and out of Church.
When i firt became a believer boy did i stumble, but nobody told me its ok just get back up on that horse and ask forgiveness and dont do it again. Christ is right there for you when you turn from your Sin. Ok. why isnt that Grace known in church. or maybe it was but i didnt see it or realize it. but it sure did cause confusion. Now it the church we want the sick. to help them Come to know Christ like we did. i dont think it is as easy as it sounds.
i dont know how many times i fell, and got back up fell got back up. and then someone on a show i was watching, said all you got to do is turn away when you stumble and ask for forgiveness and turn around and he is their like Christ arms are wide open for me. and that made it so much easier. but it also woke me up that i didnt want to hurt Jesus anymore thats when it hit me. i though man i was stupid. but HE still loves me. huh. Jesus still loves me. Doing things wrong especially in a leadership posititon, in any part of the church you have to Make GOD first. If i were in leadership in church and i was doing something wrong that GOD would see as wrong i would defiantley want some who new better to come and tell me. Because i must have had a brain freeze. i would want to keep the standard at the highest just for HIM. Our God Our Lord Our Savior. People listen to other people and if what you are teaching them sure could blow them out of the water. and hurt them in the future about the Christian walk with our Lord. I would want my Pastor come to me and say hey you are doing or saying this wrong. and tell me what the bible says. If the Bible says it. I will be sure i correct my mistake to the person or persons that i have dont wrong to and correct it asap. and restore damage control.
Now getting those who are immoral people out of our lives. they are everywhere. dont we want to help them. there are the ones who may have stumbled and you might be the one who can give a hand to help them back up. But the Bible says that with a such man do not even eat. are we not here to help the hurt and lost and people who have stumbled. or maybe the Bible is talking about the ones who wont change been there and done that so that is why do not even eat with them. Wouldnt we ask the Holy Spirit to discerne that Spirit. and tell Satan get behind me. In the Name of Jesus.
But it does seems they are everywhere. we would have to leave the world and we can do that til Jesus comes. He never promises us a tomorrow. maybe tonight.. I love you Jesus and Thank you for Loving me.
